Hosting, your domain renewed, backups, security certificate, someone watching it's still up, and half an hour of edits a month. Optional, and you can stop any time.

Berkshire Bike Works
A friend wanted to start fixing bikes locally. He had the tools, the skill and a garage, and no way for anyone to find out he existed.
We built one page: what he fixes, what it costs, where he is, and a form. It's been bringing him work ever since, and it's the reason I started doing this properly.

I'm Cam
I've spent the last ten years on copywriting, content and digital marketing, mostly for charities and good causes. I settled in Thatcham five years ago after a lot of moving around. I have built various websites for different projects and charitable initiatives.
This is me trying to be useful on the business side of that. There's no agency behind me and no account manager. You deal with me, which is also why I've got the time to spend on a job most agencies would think too small.
When I'm not doing this I play chess, strategic board games, and write a long-running blog about Zen, parenting and modern life in the UK.

What's the catch at £350?
I'm building up a portfolio of local work, so this is a founding rate for the first handful of Thatcham and Newbury businesses. It will go up once I've got those. The work itself doesn't change.
Do I actually own it?
Yes. The domain goes in your name, the site files are yours, and if you ever want to take it somewhere else I'll hand the lot over without a fuss. Nothing is held hostage.
I haven't got any words or photos.
Most people haven't. I'll tidy up whatever you've got as part of the £350. If you'd rather I wrote the whole thing from scratch, that's extra — but I'll tell you what it costs before I start.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
You can, and for some people that's the right answer. But it's an evening a week for a month, it keeps charging you, and the result usually looks like the template it came from. This way you get it done, done properly, and you get your evenings back.
How long does it really take?
Two weeks from the day your content lands with me. The bit that slows projects down is almost always waiting on photos, so the sooner you send them the sooner you're live.
